We’ve been reformulating our mainstay glazes, and this glaze is part of our latest satin series. It is so buttery soft to the touch, and has slight variations that happen on the surface to make for a beautiful aesthetic. This particular satiny glaze takes our decal work (which is a third firing) really well. I love a good watercolor, and have been working on curating a collection of artwork from various artists to accompany our pottery. I’m really happy with the collection so far, and I’m excited to keep growing it. These planters are unique and one-of-a-kind pieces. While we may have multiple items in a single listing, the color and shape may differ slightly.
Each planter has a built-in water dish, and a hole for draining. Eric created this sweet little pieces with a fluted and frilly design up top adding a little interest and flair. Makes a really great gift!
Each one of our planters are handmade from start to finish. The clay is measured and thrown on the potters wheel, and a foot is carved into the bottom. All of our glazes are made from raw materials right here in our studio, unless otherwise stated. We do not use molds. Due to our hands on process, each piece we make will vary slightly from one another - no two are the same, giving you a truly unique piece of art.
