We currently have 4 different party options to choose from. Whether you're planning a birthday, a family gathering, a team building event for your business, or just gathering with friends, we’re happy to work with you in creating an event that fits. Please take a look at the options offered below, and contact us to get a date set! Email us at info@bealepottery.com, or fill out the form provided to get the ball rolling for your event! Our calendar fills up rather quickly. Please allow at least 4-6 weeks to plan your event. If you have a large gathering, you may want even more time.
*Please note: We have two ways of billing for parties. You can choose to pay for everyone in your party, or we can set up a special listing for your group to purchase individual spots once your deposit has been paid.

Handbuilding
Bring your group to the table for a hand building project! We have a few options that are great for beginners and those with some experience. We’ll chat before your event and decide on a project. You can expect to learn a bit about the ceramic process, create a project from clay utilizing the slab roller, and have some fun! Each person will choose a glaze color before leaving, then we’ll have them fired up and ready for you in 1-2 weeks.

Wheel Throwing
Who wants to get muddy?! Here’s your chance to get some friends together, and try out the potters wheel. Eric will be present to give your group basic instructions. We have 6 wheels available, and are able to accommodate up to 12 in a group with parties larger than 6 sharing wheel time. You won’t be able to keep the things you make on the wheel, but everyone in your party will get to choose a dipped Beale Pottery mug or tumbler to take home with them.

Paint a Pot
This is our most popular option for a gathering - paint a piece of handmade pottery! Each guest will have the option to paint, dip, or spray a mug or tumbler with a variety of colorful glaze options. We’ll provide instruction and guidance as needed throughout the process, and even give you some tips before you arrive. *With enough time before your event, we can discuss making a special item for your group to paint.

Raku
The Raku process is by far one of the most exciting ways to finish pottery! With this process, each person in your party will pick out and paint a decorative piece with glazes, and watch as we bring it to temp in our raku kiln, then place your piece into a bin where we reduce the oxygen - that’s where the magic happens! Each guest will walk away with their own one of a kind piece of pottery after your event.
