Spoon Rest | State Park Trails

$25.00
Sold Out

This listing is for one Spoon Rest made from a beautiful stoneware.

Our son Oliver continues to moonlight with us, and creates all of our spoons rests and ramekins. His skill set continues to improve, and we are very proud to offer his work for sale.

These pieces have been decorated with elements from an old Indiana Dunes State Park Trail Map. Living in Northwest Indiana our whole lives, the Dunes have always been our playground. The nostalgia from years past feels very special. I’ve paired those elements with a water color Columbine Flower, and butterflies. :)

Each one of our wares are handmade from start to finish. The clay is measured and thrown on the potters wheel, a foot is carved into the bottom, and the handle is attached if needed. After the piece has been bisque fired, we sign individually, paint wax onto the bottom, and then finally dip into one or multiple glazes. All of our glazes are made from raw materials right here in our studio, unless otherwise stated. We do not use molds. Due to our hands on process, each piece we make will vary slightly from one another - no two are the same, giving you a truly unique piece of art.
