Oil Cruet | Flamingos!
We’ve been reformulating our mainstay glazes, and this glaze is part of our latest satin series. It is so buttery soft to the touch, and has slight variations that happen on the surface to make for a beautiful aesthetic. This particular satiny glaze takes our decal work (which is a third firing) really well. I love a good watercolor, and have been working on curating a collection of artwork from various artists to accompany our pottery. I’m really happy with the collection so far, and I’m excited to keep growing it.
The oil cruet is the perfect way to deliver olive oil - or any oil of your choice to a stovetop dish, your salad, some garlic and herbs, or leave it out on the table for your guests to use. This brightly colored design will surely be a talking point at your summer gatherings.
Each one of our wares is handmade from start to finish. The clay is measured and thrown on the potters wheel, and our logo is stamped on the bottom. We do not use molds. Due to our hands on process, each piece we make will vary slightly from one another - no two are the same, giving you a truly unique piece of art.
