Butterfly Camp Mug | Warm Colors
We’ve been reformulating our mainstay glazes, and this rich toasty color over black clay is not only beautiful, but buttery soft to the touch. This particular satin feeling glaze takes our decal work (which is a third firing) really well. I love a good watercolor, and when I found these butterflies, I knew they’d be a perfect accompaniment. They turned out better than I could’ve imagined, complete with a nostalgic flair… just my vibe.
The mug itself is our Camp style - which has become a fan favorite, and there is a good reason why! It feels great in your hand, has a nostalgic vibe, and holds a robust 14-16oz. Our Beale Pottery logo is stamped into the bottom of each mug.
Each one of our mugs are handmade from start to finish. The clay is measured and thrown on the potters wheel, a foot is carved into the bottom, and a handle is attached. All of our glazes are made from raw materials right here in our studio, unless otherwise stated. We do not use molds. Due to our hands on process, each piece we make will vary slightly from one another - no two are the same, giving you a truly unique piece of art.
While mugs would hold up in the dishwasher, we recommend that you handwash these special beauties. Microwave safe, unless they’ve been painted with 22k gold.
