Indiana Dunes Birding Festival | A Raku Experience
Thursday, May 14th, 2:00 - 6:00 PM
The Indiana Dunes Birding Festival is an annual event hosted by Indiana Audubon that showcases the abundance of migratory birds in the Indiana Dunes.
Birding in the Indiana Dunes offers some of the best experiences in the state. With rich biodiversity, diverse habitats, and miles of Lake Michigan shoreline, the area is a prime hotspot for migrating birds. The Indiana Dunes Birding Festival celebrates this natural diversity and exceptional birding opportunities, aiming to inspire visitors and local residents through environmental education, conservation efforts, and support for the local economy.
We’re excited to team up with the Indiana Dunes Birding Festival to host a special raku firing event. Join us for a unique, hands-on experience where art and nature meet—watch the magic of raku unfold and explore the creative process behind each one-of-a-kind piece.
You can still find us at the Migration Marketplace on Thursday, May 14th, from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm, where we’ll be selling our handmade pottery throughout the festival.
