PART 2 OF 2
What if the character you sculpted with your own hands could come alive in a world of adventure? In this beginner-friendly clay workshop + role playing game (RPG) experience your pottery creation becomes a hero with a story, abilities, and choices that shape the world around them. Together, players will create personalized game pawns from clay, explore a shared fantasy setting, solve problems, and face challenges where imagination and teamwork matter more than winning or losing.

Create your personalized game pawn
March 1st | 11-2pm
Glazing/bringing your pawn to life with color
During your first two visits you’ll be guided through creating your very own sculpted game pawns with Felicia Meyer. The first class will focus on sculpting and refining your pawn. When you return you’ll spend time adding glazes to your piece giving it a perfect finished look once fired. Felicia is a member of our studio, and began teaching sculpture here in 2025. Her classes are fun and informative. She provides guidance and inspiration to even the most novice creators. There will be reference materials and tools provided for added help.
March 8th | 11-3pm
RPG Pathfinder (similar to Dungeons + Dragons)
This game is designed for ages 16 and up and is perfect for first-time players— no experience required. Each participant will play a Pathfinder character based on the figure they created in pottery class, giving every hero a unique look and backstory. All players will receive a free set of dice, and the rules will be taught step-by-step during play. The focus is on creativity, storytelling, and learning how tabletop role-playing games work in a relaxed, supportive environment.
The game will be guided by Steve Zatezalo, the StoryTeller or Dungeon Master (often called the DM). The DM is the person who describes the world, gives voice to the characters you meet, and helps the story unfold. Steve's DM style is story-focused and fun-first. He ensures everyone gets a chance to play in the way they’re comfortable with: no one is forced into the spotlight, though shy players are gently encouraged when they’re ready. He prioritizes story, creativity, and momentum over strict rule-checking, which keeps the game moving and engaging rather than slowed by searches through rulebooks.
If you’ve ever been curious about fantasy worlds, collaborative storytelling, or bringing your art to life in a new way, this is your chance. Spots are limited to keep the game fun and manageable, so sign up early and prepare to see your character step off the shelf and into legend."
In the end you will walk away with game pawns/a keepsake character, new friendships, and an a fun experience to carry with you always.
