  • Interior of an art studio or workspace with large tables, chairs, shelves filled with art supplies, and various artworks and storage bins.

    The Tables

We’ve created large table spaces topped with cement board for multiple uses. The tables are mainly used for hand-building, sculpture making, and painting on glazes.

  • Storage room with shelves filled with jars, powders, and containers of artistic supplies, a small workstation with cups and utensils, and a marble table in the foreground.

    Glaze Kitchen

Our glaze kitchen is the place where colors come to life! We make most of our own glazes here, but do have the option of bright and cheerful commercial glazes to finish projects with, which include Amaco Velvet Underglazes and Mayo Stroke and Coats. We’ve also got a Laguna Spray Booth, which makes glazing a breeze.

  • A cluttered ceramics pottery studio with shelves filled with ceramic pieces, a tan firing kiln with an open lid, a fire extinguisher, and colorful floral wallpaper on the wall.

    Kiln Room

Our kiln room is set in the far corner of our facility, and is blocked off from most classes. We use two Skutt 1027 Kilns - which are electric kilns, and fire in the cone 5-6 range.
