This is one of those days when the studio smells incredible.
Kris arrives with armloads of fresh evergreens, branches and all sorts of beautiful natural things, we turn on some music, and for a few hours the whole studio feels like the very best beginning to the season.
We’re so happy to welcome Kris Livovich of Sugarfield Flowers back for another year of our Holiday Wreath Workshop - a collaboration that has quickly become another one of our favorite traditions.
Kris will bring a gorgeous selection of fresh greenery and natural elements and walk you through building your wreath from the ground up. She’ll teach you how to layer different textures, create movement and fullness, and put everything together into something that feels beautifully wild, natural and completely your own.
And, of course, it wouldn’t be a Sugarfield + Beale wreath without a little pottery.
We started adding handmade ceramic houses to our wreaths a few years ago, and loved them so much that we couldn’t stop. This year, Beale Pottery will be creating an entirely new tiny house just for the workshop. Tuck it into your wreath for the season, then keep it as a little ceramic luminary to bring out year after year.
You’ll head home with a big, beautiful handmade wreath, your limited-edition Beale Pottery house, and hopefully that wonderful feeling that comes from spending a few hours making something with your own two hands.
Come by yourself, bring your mom, your sister, your best friend - or make it a little date. We’ll have two workshop times this year so there’s plenty of room to gather around the tables.
