Hand Painting on Pottery | Milissa Beale
Beale Pottery is well known for Milissa’s hand painted design work. In this three hour workshop she’ll guide you through her painting process starting with design creation and layout, and continue on with application techniques using brushes and slip trailing bottles filled with various underglazes.
Can’t draw? No problem! Bring designs or drawings from home, and learn tips to transfer them onto your pottery. Milissa will also provide various images that you are welcome to use for transfer.
*Beginner Friendly!
Materials Provided:
You will be provided with a medium sized plate to design and underglaze. Extra bisque-ware pieces will be provided for an additional cost.
You are more than welcome to bring your own bisque fired pottery to design and glaze.
Milissa will be providing slip trailing bottles and brushes for you to use while you’re visiting the studio. Again, you’re welcome to bring your own if you’d like.
