Eric has been experimenting with glaze chemistry for some time now. He’s been aiming to achieve both micro and macro crystal growth within the glaze surface, and imitate an atmospheric aesthetic within the contrasts of a mid-range oxidation kiln. His results are improving with every test batch… this collection is the culmination of his efforts, and it doesn’t disappoint! Crystalline firings are exciting, and somewhat temperamental. While we have a general idea of the outcome, we don’t always know what’s coming out of the kiln. While we may have multiple pieces listed under the same No. available, the color and crystals may differ slightly.
These pieces are lined with an in-house food safe glaze, the color is white.
While these pieces would hold up in the dishwasher, we recommend that you handwash these special beauties. Keep out of the microwave as well.
