Join us on the 2nd Saturday of each month for our newest offering –
We have a passionate group of potters here who are eager and ready for fun challenges to dive into, and we’re totally into it! Eric will have 6 wheel spots available, and Milissa will open up 6 spots at the tables for involved hand building projects. Our plan is to push creative limits with clay, and explore just how far we can go within a friendly, relaxed small group setting that encourages experimentation and learning. Our hope is to gather an enthusiastic group of potters who want to build skills over time, make some new pottery friends, and be able to apply the new techniques and ideas they’ve learned into their own personal practice.
Eric and Milissa will come up with the first projects for January, and then take suggestions for projects going forward in the coming months. You can expect involved and refined projects that have a solid lesson plan. Think lamps, lidded cookie jars with twist, serving dishes with fun sculptural elements, scrafitto, etc…
We will have to build in some glaze days, and that can be discussed once we all get together.
The club will meet on the second Saturday of each month consistently, with the exception of October, when we host our biggest annual event – Rhythm + Raku Fest. For October, the club will convene on the third Thursday instead to accommodate the festivities.
While checking out you will have the option to subscribe monthly to secure your spot in the club, or pay for one month at a time. If you choose to the subscription option, please note that you will be charged each month on the date you sign up, but there is no obligation or penalty to cancel - you can do so at anytime.
First Club session will be held on January 10th.
Club will meet from 10am - 3pm. You are welcome to bring lunch or snacks with you. We always have water, tea, and coffee to keep you happy and hydrated.
We’re genuinely excited to see what you nd to share in the joy of making pottery together!
